Supademo's first 100 customers: the stack behind the workflow
How Joseph Lee combined unscalable customer work with a layered product, support, and GTM stack.
Supademo
Supademo’s stack is interesting because it is not the reason the company found its first customers. Joseph Lee described a deliberately manual process: find people already struggling with product demos, create useful demos for them, and stay close enough to see which workflows repeated. The software stack supported that motion after the problem was clear.
The decision
The team rotates between Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex rather than standardising on a single AI coding tool. Lee said the choice depends on which model is performing best for the task. Linear is the operational spine for tasks, with connections into Slack and Claude; AWS hosts the product; Postmark handles transactional email; Intercom covers triggered onboarding, marketing messages, and support.
What is transferable
The transferable pattern is not “buy eleven tools.” It is to separate stack positions: build, plan, host, deliver product email, support customers, and then add GTM enrichment only when there is a repeatable motion. Ahrefs, Clay, and Zapier were named as part of GTM and customer-success work, but the interview did not establish which one caused growth.
Limitation
The reported revenue and workflow come from one founder interview. RapidWombat has not independently verified the revenue, the causal contribution of any tool, or whether the same stack is economical for an earlier company.
